Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks an Application Analyst II-Pharmacy to join the Pharmacy IS team in King of Prussia, PA.

You will support the implementation and ongoing operation of Pharmacy related applications, ensuring high availability and performance across a 25+ acute care hospital environment. You will work with Cerner and related systems, focus on data integration, system enhancements, and end-user support, while adhering to change control processes and service level policies.

Qualifications

• Three to Five years of progressively more responsible Information Systems experience with Pharmacy Systems, preferably Cerner.
• 2 years of completed college coursework towards a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices.
• Basic knowledge of Pharmacy and related computer systems such as Med Distribution and Order Management Systems (Pyxis and Pyxis Connect).
• Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation of UHS Pharmacy and Pharmacy related applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Assists with data integration activities across systems and applications.
• Monitors resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Cerner.
• Provides assistance in conversion activities including technical and end user support.
• Provides on-call support as scheduled and participates in meetings with user community.
