Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking an Application Analyst II-BH Clinical Systems in Springfield, IL. The role acts as a clinical liaison, handling implementation, training, support, and maintenance for the Cerner-based clinical information system, with on-call duties and collaboration with physicians.

You will work with a project team, conduct testing, and help redesign workflows to improve care delivery for behavioral health services. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree is required.
• 3-5 years of related experience is required.
• Understanding of clinical workflow in a behavioral health facility and Cerner experience is required.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and management of clinical applications.
• Coordinate with users, vendors, and IS staff on system specifications.
• Perform system testing and documentation across the development life cycle.
• Assist with training users on application procedures.
• Maintain regular communications with user community and management.
