Gusto is seeking an autonomous, strategic Executive Operations Partner to sit at the center of how the company runs. You will be the strategic right hand to our CEO, owning leadership rhythms, complex scheduling, and operational support for the executive steering committee during a high-growth transformation.

This senior role requires anticipating needs, reducing friction, and delivering fast, high-quality outputs with AI-enabled workflows and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years supporting VP-level or above executives
• Demonstrated AI fluency with system-wide workflows
• Autonomous, strategic working style
• Influence across leaders and teams
• Outstanding organization and judgment under pressure
• Strong written and spoken communication and project management
• Complete confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Own calendar management and meeting rhythms for CEO and Head of Engineering
• Partner with Insights & Operations to operationalize cadences
• Embed AI-enabled systems to draft summaries, action-items, and briefs
• Triage inboxes and represent the CEO with external partners
• Draft executive presentations and company-wide communications
• Lead complex travel and events for the leadership team
• Oversee expense and budget processes for executives
• Identify risks and shape workflows to prevent issues
