Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines such as Centac and Turbo Air. You will use precision tools for diagnostics and reference operation manuals for equipment.

The role requires at least 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Daily travel to customer sites is expected with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Proven safety-conscious approach to field service.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations and repairs.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams and diagnose complex issues.
• Document service activities by completing work orders and time sheets.
• Maintain rapport with customers and suggest system improvements.
• Conduct safety assessments and 47-point inspections on compressors and dryers.
• Work with Service Coordinator to order and gather parts for installations.
• Explain practices and policies to suppliers and others outside the area.
• Perform basic vibration and air quality troubleshooting.
