Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines, including Centac and Turbo Air models. The role involves hands-on work, diagnostic troubleshooting, and documenting service activities for customer sites in the Phoenix, AZ area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of centrifugal compressor experience, a high school diploma, and strong mechanical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Document service activities with work orders and time sheets.
• Conduct safety assessments and 47-point inspections on compressors and related equipment.
• Travel daily to customer sites with occasional overnight stays.
