Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to service, install, troubleshoot, and repair centrifugal compressor products and related systems across multiple sites. The role involves hands-on work, reading schematics, and documenting field activities.

The position requires at least 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Daily travel to customer sites is expected, with potential overtime and overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams for equipment, research complex technical issues, and find/implement solutions.
• Document service and installation activities by completing work orders, performing maintenance checklists, and maintaining daily time sheets.
