Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Pomona, CA is hiring a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines including Centac and Turbo Air models. You will work on-site at customer sites, perform start-ups, and carry out preventative maintenance.

Daily travel, hands-on diagnostic work, and reading wiring diagrams are required. You will document activities, advise on system improvements, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor systems.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams; diagnose complex issues.
• Document activities with work orders and time sheets.
• Coordinate with service teams to order parts and supplies.
• Perform safety assessments and 47-point inspections across equipment.
• Assist during start-ups and pre-commissioning on-site.
