Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Dallas, TX is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines, including Centac and Turbo Air models, and related air system components. You will use precision measurement tools and study operation manuals to ensure equipment meets customer requirements.

Daily on-site service with potential overtime and travel; safety inspections and documented work orders are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license for travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams; research complex issues and implement solutions.
• Document work orders, maintenance checklists, and daily time sheets.
