Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines across multiple sites. You will use precision tools to diagnose equipment and work with manuals for all equipment.

The role requires 3+ years of centrifugal compressor experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to travel daily to customer sites with a strong safety focus and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading wiring schematics and diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams for equipment, research complex technical issues, and find/implement solutions.
• Document service and installation activities by completing work orders, maintenance checklists, and time sheets.
• Maintain rapport with customers by suggesting improved methods and technologies and recommending system improvements.
