Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor product lines including Centac and Turbo Air models. You will use precision tools and read equipment manuals to ensure proper operation at customer sites.

The role requires 3+ years of centrifugal compressor experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel daily to customer sites with occasional overtime or overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations and repairs of compressed air systems.
• Read wiring schematics and diagrams; research complex technical issues and implement solutions.
• Document service activities with work orders and maintenance checklists.
• Maintain rapport with customers and promote Ingersoll Rand services and solutions.
• Conduct safety assessments and 47-point inspections on compressors and related equipment.
• Coordinate parts with Service Coordinator and operations teams.
