Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair centrifugal compressor product lines, including Centac and Turbo Air, and related air system components. This role requires hands‑on work at customer sites and precise use of diagnostic tools.

You will read wiring diagrams, document activities, and coordinate with service teams to order parts. Travel to customer sites is expected, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems.
• Read wiring schematics, research complex issues, and implement solutions.
• Document service activities and maintain time sheets.
• Conduct safety assessments and 47-point inspections on compressors, dryers, and components.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator on parts and supplies.
• Perform basic vibration and air quality troubleshooting.
