Job summary

A qualified candidate will have formal Sterile Processing training or 18 months experience, infection control knowledge, and CRCST or CSPDT certification.

Qualifications

• Accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology or 18 months relevant Sterile Processing experience
• Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology
• Current CRCST or CSPDT certification. Must maintain certification by CEUs and renewing certification.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment
• Charge, billing and logging of service as well as patient charges for the OR
• Perform daily biological testing and participate in performance improvement projects
