Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking an experienced scheduling specialist to manage patient appointments, registrations, and related administrative duties. You will navigate multiple systems, provide preparation and location details, and verify insurance benefits for patients across several departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of revenue cycle experience and/or 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsabilités

• Schedules and pre-registers patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other appointments captured by the department.
• Complete any administrative work that goes along with scheduling the appointment.
• Transcribe any external orders from Physician.
• Handle high call volumes for multiple locations and departments.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform all scheduling functions as needed.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Input patient data and verify insurance; explain benefits as needed.
• Manage multiple phone calls, including answering, transferring, and conferencing.
