Job summary

HDR is seeking a Central Region Transit Market Sector Leader to partner with regional management and the Global Transit Market Sector Director. You will develop and execute transit and rail market strategies, manage client relationships, and lead program growth across the Central Region.

Role includes overseeing strategic projects, coordinating marketing and technical teams, and mentoring staff to meet market drivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in transportation planning/engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning or a related field.
• If an engineer, maintain engineering registration.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.
• Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
• Experience in overall staff development to include recruiting, career path and professional growth.
• Experience with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector.
• Ability to work cooperatively with Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Director, Area Business Group Managers, Area Marketing Managers and Area Managers.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership on multi-discipline projects and programs across market sectors.
• Lead growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail market sectors and coordinate capture planning.
• Assist Global Transit Market Sector Director in expanding services and aligning with market needs.
