Job summary

HDR in the Central Region seeks a Transit Market Sector Leader to partner with regional management to develop and execute transit and rail market strategies across the Central Region. You will manage market opportunities, client relations, and staff growth.

You will lead multi-discipline project leadership, grow programs, coordinate proposals, and support the Global Transit Market Sector Director to expand services and win contracts. This is a senior leadership role with national impact.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in transportation planning and/or engineering with a majority of that experience in the market sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, planning, or related field.
• If an engineer, maintain engineering registration.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects and programs across market sectors and regions.
• Lead program growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail; support major pursuits and proposals.
• Support the Global Transit Market Sector Director in setting vision and capability improvements.
