HDR is seeking a Central Region Transit Market Sector Leader to partner with regional management and the Global Transit Market Sector Director. The role focuses on developing and executing transit and rail market strategies across the Central Region, including market opportunity assessment, client management, marketing coordination, and staff development.

Key duties include leading multi-discipline programs, driving growth across transit and rail sectors, and supporting the Global Transit Market

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in transportation planning/engineering.
• Bachelors Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• If an engineer, maintain engineering registration.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience in development and management of client relationships and specific program/project pursuits.
• Experience in overall staff development including recruiting and career growth.
• Experience with industry associations and maintaining a visible market profile.
• Ability to work cooperatively with Market Sector Directors and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across market sectors with program management oversight.
• Drive strategic planning and program growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail market sectors.
• Support Global Transit Market Sector Director to expand services and win contracts, aligning with market needs.
