Job summary

HDR seeks a Central Region Transit Market Sector Leader to partner with regional management to develop and execute transit and rail market strategies. Lead program growth, market planning, and staff development to meet client needs across the Central Region.

The role involves coordinating with directors, managing proposals, and advancing the market sector to win contracts while supporting HDR’s employee-owned culture and collaborative values.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in transportation planning/engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, planning or related field
Engineering registration if an engineer
Experience in developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services
Experience in managing client relationships and pursuits
Experience in staff development and recruitment
Active involvement with industry associations and market sector visibility
Ability to collaborate with Market Sector Directors and regional leaders

Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline projects across market sectors and regions
Drive program growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail sectors
Support Global Transit Market Sector growth and strategic planning
