Qualifications

• 10+ years in transportation planning/engineering with market sector experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning or related field.
• If an engineer, maintain engineering registration.
• Experience in strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships and program pursuits.
• Staff development including recruitment and career growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations and market sector profile.
• Ability to work with Market Sector Directors and regional managers.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project and program leadership across market sectors and regions.
• Lead program growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail markets; support strategic growth.
• Support capture planning, pre-proposal visits, and proposal coordination with teams.
