Job summary

Artemis Wax Center in Rockville, MD is seeking an Assistant Manager with strong leadership and customer service skills to run day-to-day center operations. You will support the Center Manager, drive Wax Pass sales, and ensure superb guest experiences through professional front desk procedures.

The role requires at least one year of supervisory experience, a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a sales-driven role.
• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated results-oriented leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field and People Leadership; maintain Wax Pass sales targets (min 15% non-promo, 25% promo).
• Diffuse customer service issues professionally to avoid escalation.
• Assist Center Manager with scheduling, room assignments, and two months out planning.
• Keep lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and organized to brand standards.
• Lead by example with front desk protocols and guest check-in procedures.
• Train and model Artemis Wax brand standards and center protocols.
• Set direction with Center Team; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Drive center revenue and KPI performance; create action plans with the team.
• Oversee traffic, conversion, staffing, payroll, ordering and compliance.
• Review reservations for accuracy; correct errors immediately; support EFT processing.
