Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, on-site role at our Wilmington, NC center. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and engage families to support therapy goals.

The position requires RBT certification or BACB 40-hour training, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year with children or individuals with special needs. CPR certification and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience working with children or individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
• Communicate with families about their child’s progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
