Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support therapy for children with autism at our Wilmington center. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and engage families to reinforce skills in sessions.

Qualifications include an active RBT certification or BACB-approved 40-hour training, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification OR 40-hour RBT training recognized by the BACB.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
• Communicate with families about progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
