Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to join our in-center ABA therapy program in the Baltimore area. You will provide direct care 1:1 and in small groups, following BCBA/BC protocols, and collect data to track progress.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and a path to supervision hours through our practicum program. Requirements include RBT certification, background check, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
Willing to participate in background check process.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
Must be able to physically perform this job, including lifting up to 50lbs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Good written and verbal communication; cultural competency.

Responsibilities

Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Assist with parent and caregiver training.
Ensure timely documentation according to procedures.
Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
Report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of materials and assessments.
