Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Decatur, GA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct client care in 1:1 and small-group settings. You’ll implement evidence-based ABA protocols, collect data, and support families through training and progress updates.

This role requires RBT certification, a high school diploma, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing as part of ongoing professional requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification issued by BACB.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to undergo annual TB testing and background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly for child safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavior protocols in the client's treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment and behavior protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation following established procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
