Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct 1:1 and small-group ABA therapy in a center setting. The role emphasizes structured data collection, adherence to treatment plans, and collaboration with BCBA/BC staff.

Candidates must be RBT certified, 18+, with reliable transportation and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current certification as an RBT (BACB)
• Willing to participate in background check process
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Willing to obtain TB test annually
• Physically able to perform job (lift up to 50 lbs) and assist with floor work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Follow prescribed protocols built by BCBA/BC
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per individualized plan
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers per BCBA/BC
• Maintain safe and organized work environment
• Assist BCBA/BC with materials and assessments
• Sustain ongoing client materials preparation and data collection
