Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to support children on the autism spectrum with ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under supervision. Candidates must have RBT certification or commit to a 40-hour training and pass the competency exam within 45 days of hire.

This full-time, in-center role is with Centria in Farmington Hills, MI, offering a pay range of $18–$24 per hour, with frontline hours 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and opportunities for growth and benefits.

Competenze

• Must hold and maintain RBT certification or be willing to complete a 40 hour training and sit for competency exam within 45 days.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and possible driver’s license/insurance.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid and TB test if not in past year.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform floor-level tasks as needed.
• Strong data entry and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Professional, patient, reliable and good communication with families.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain emotional control.

Mansioni

• Provide direct 1:1 and small group ABA therapy under supervision.
• Follow client treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client data.
• Assist with caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of progress and incidents.
• Communicate progress with parents as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain safe, clean therapy environments and materials.
• Prepare client materials and assist BCBA/BC with assessments.
