Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for full-time, in-center work in Farmington Hills, MI. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group ABA services to young children, implement treatment plans, collect data, and train families.

Requirements include current RBT certification, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB)
• Background check participation required
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Reliability in transportation is required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Willing to obtain TB test annually
• Must be physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group client care using intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Follow prescribed behavior protocols per client treatment plan
• Collect, record, and summarize behavior data
• Assist with parent and caregiver training
• Ensure timely and proper documentation
• Communicate progress with families as directed by supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments
