Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician for full-time, in-center work in High Point, NC. The role focuses on 1:1 and group client care, data collection, and caregiver training within an evidence-based ABA program.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and maintaining safety. Requires active RBT certification, background check, CPR/First Aid readiness, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Must be willing to participate in background check.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
• Physically able to perform job duties (lift up to 50 lbs, get on floor, mobility).
• Strong attention to detail; able to perform repetitive tasks precisely.
• Good written and verbal communication; comfortable using mobile data entry apps.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow treatment plans designed by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers.
• Report all incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work and therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
