Job summary

Centria Healthcare's Life Skills Autism Academy in High Point, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician for full-time, in-center work supporting young children. You will provide 1:1 and small-group instruction, collect data, implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision, train caregivers, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements include a current RBT certification, HS diploma or GED, reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification as issued by the BACB.
• Background check participation required.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform floor work when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed protocols within the client’s treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with treatment protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time per procedures.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed.
• Report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
