Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a Centria Autism division, seeks an in-person Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in High Point, NC. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm on-site, with opportunities for practicum supervision and professional growth.

You will provide direct 1:1 and group-based care, adhering to individualized treatment plans and data collection, while collaborating with BCBA/BC professionals. The position includes paid time off and a structured pay plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Background check participation required by company.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Ability to physically perform job including lifting up to 50lbs and quick movement when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfort with recording data on mobile devices and using digital apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow behavioral protocols as outlined in the client’s treatment plan by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition.
