Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy in-center for young children. You will follow BCBA/BC plans, collect data, and support families with training and behavior reduction strategies.

Qualified candidates hold an RBT and are prepared for on-boarding steps; CPR/First Aid, TB testing, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete 40-hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days of employment
• Must pass background check process
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Willing to obtain TB test annually
• Physical ability to perform job including lifting up to 50lbs and mobility
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Comfort with using mobile devices and digital applications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in the individualized plan
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress
• Report all critical incidents and safety concerns as instructed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments
