Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA/BC. Candidates must hold or pursue RBT certification and complete a 40-hour ABA course within 45 days of employment.

The role pays $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience and education, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm (center-based, full-time).

Qualifications

• Must hold current RBT certification or be willing to complete a 40-hour ABA training and sit for the RBT exam within 45 days of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral protocols outlined in the client’s plan by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation following procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
