Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a center-based ABA Therapy program serving young children. The RBT provides one-to-one and group direct care, following individualized treatment plans created by BCBA/BC. You will collect data, train parents, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

This full-time in-center role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm. Required certifications include RBT, with CPR/First Aid and a TB test annually.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification per BACB guidelines.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to undergo TB test annually.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow the client’s treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.

Education

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

High School Diploma or GED

CPR and First Aid certification
