Job summary

Centria Autism's Life Skills Autism Academy in Maryland is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct 1:1 and small group ABA therapy in-center. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support children in communication, daily living skills, and social behaviors in a structured environment.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm. Requirements include current RBT certification, HS diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Willing to participate in background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• Comfort with using mobile data apps and technology to record data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and small group ABA settings.
• Follow behavior acquisition and reduction protocols per client plan.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation per procedures.
• Communicate progress to families as directed by supervisor.
• Report safety concerns and incidents as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
