Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a center-based ABA Therapy program serving young children. We provide intensive 1:1 and group sessions to develop communication, daily living skills, and social behaviors essential for school and home success. Join as a Registered Behavior Technician.

Full-time, in-center schedule Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm. Must hold RBT certification, HS diploma, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
• Must be able to physically perform this job, including lifting up to 50lbs and floor work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per treatment plan.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
