Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct 1:1 and small-group ABA therapy in center-based programs. The role emphasizes intensive teaching, data collection, and caregiver coaching to support children's communication and daily living goals.

Ideal candidates hold RBT certification, are 18+, and committed to safety, documentation, and ongoing CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current certification as an RBT (BACB).
• Willing to participate in the company's background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
• Must be able to physically perform this job, including lifting up to 50lbs and floor work.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions; strong documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency with flexibility and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed protocols outlined in the client's treatment plan built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with treatment and behavior protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and according to procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Utilize safe procedures and report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
