Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to support children on the autism spectrum with ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Candidates must maintain current RBT certification or commit to a 40-hour training and sit for the exam within 45 days of employment.

Center hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, full-time, center-based. Pay range is $18-$24 per hour, negotiable based on experience, education, and skills.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required or be willing to complete 40-hour training and sit for the exam within 45 days of employment.
• Ability to collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Strong communication with parents/caregivers and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Follow ABA protocols and Behavior Intervention Plans under supervision.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable behavior data.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training.
• Maintain documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate progress to families as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Prepare client materials and support BCBA/BC in assessments.
