Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Terminal Operator in the United States, Oregon. You will report to the Terminal Manager and ensure safe operation of a cement distribution terminal, handling bulk railcar operations and truck loading with strict attention to safety, quality and customer service.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to work in a cross-functional team, and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies. Pre-employment checks and PPE protocols apply as part of our safety culture.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is required to operate and maintain terminal equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to work with customers and teammates.
• Ability to learn procedures and work without supervision in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
• Load bulk trucks with correct weights and product.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep the terminal clean.
• Maintain records of receipts, shipments and inventory per guidelines.
• Unload railcars and transfer product into silos; sample and test products.
