Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Cement Technician to operate and maintain our cement plant. You will contribute to safety, perform inspections, and execute a range of maintenance activities on equipment and systems central to production.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, the ability to work outside in varied conditions, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset to support continuous plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, in dusty environments and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety, assess risks, use proper PPE.
• Perform walk-by inspections and checks on the process plant.
• Carry out industrial maintenance including repairs, welding, lubrication, and basic electrical work.
• Troubleshoot equipment during operation and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain documentation and participate in team activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
