Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Cement Technician to operate and maintain our cement plant. You will work in a multi-skilled role on-site in North America, focusing on safety, efficiency, and reliable plant operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year in heavy manufacturing, with the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and across shifts. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Willing to work outside, at heights, in dusty environments and confined spaces
• Able to work any shift
• Must pass respirator fit tests and use PPE
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by assessing risks and using proper PPE
• Perform walk-by inspections and checklists on operating process plant
• Carry out industrial maintenance, repairs, installations and replacements
• Troubleshoot equipment during operation and mechanical breakdowns
• Maintain documentation and organize work
• Participate in team activities and other duties as assigned
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies
