Amrize North America invites applications for a Cement Technician/Industrial Technician to operate and maintain cement plant equipment. The role emphasizes safety, routine inspections, and hands-on maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a heavy industrial setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, documenting work, and supporting a team-driven environment while complying with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required Work Experience: 5 years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must work outdoors, at heights, in dusty and confined spaces; willing to shift work.
• Ideal candidates have a high mechanical aptitude and team-based work mentality.
• Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety; assess risks before starting tasks and use PPE.
• Perform walk-by inspections and checklists on operating process plant.
• Carry out industrial maintenance tasks (rigging, cutting, welding, fitting, lubrication, alignments, light electrical work).
• Make repairs and installations on a wide range of equipment.
• Operate light and medium plant mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize equipment during operation and breakdowns.
• Maintain documentation and participate in team activities.
