Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Cement Technician to operate and maintain our cement plant in North America. The role involves multi-skilled responsibilities across safety, maintenance, and process optimization, with emphasis on teamwork and adherence to PPE protocols.

Required a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of heavy manufacturing experience. Candidates must be able to work outdoors, at heights, and across shifts in a dusty environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is required.
• Must work outside, at heights, in dusty environments and confined spaces; ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cement plant equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment during operation and downtime; perform basic mechanical tasks.
• Conduct walk-by inspections and complete checklists for process plants.
• Maintain documentation and plan/work effectively; participate in team activities.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and use Amrize PPE.
