Job summary

Amrize North America is hiring a Cement Technician to operate and maintain our cement plant. The role requires you to work outdoors, at heights, in warm environments, and around water, while following strict safety protocols.

You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, document work, and collaborate with a team. A high school diploma and 1 year of heavy manufacturing experience are required; prior mechanical maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work outside, at heights, in dusty environments and confined spaces.
• Must be able to work any shift as required.
• Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by assessing risks before tasks and using proper PPE.
• Perform walk-by inspections and checklists on operating process plant.
• Carry out industrial maintenance, repairs, installations and replacements on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize equipment during operation and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain documentation and organize work with the team.
