Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a results-driven Coordinator Production to support plant operations in Perry, GA. You will ensure safety, environmental and quality standards while optimizing daily operations and supporting team development.

Responsibilities include equipment coordination, maintenance planning and production reporting. The role requires a technical degree, MSHA certification, 3–5 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to lead a team; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
• 3–5 years of experience in operations or a related industrial role; supervisory experience preferred; cement process experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software systems; strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; teamwork and leadership abilities; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Promote safety per company, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
• Training & Development: Ensure team has skills to perform roles safely; participate in safety committees and risk assessments.
• Environmental Responsibility: Oversee environmental compliance across plant operations.
• Product Quality: Support quality by coordinating with Quality Control and other departments.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor plant equipment, production performance, and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Workforce Planning: Assign schedules, authorize overtime, ensure staffing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Initiate and follow up on maintenance work orders; ensure reliability.
• Reporting & Documentation: Complete daily production reports and report unsafe conditions.
• Coordination: Manage shipments of cement and communicate quarry operations to teams.
