Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a committed Coordinator Production to support plant operations and ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met while optimizing daily activities. You will coordinate equipment maintenance, production reporting, and team development to drive efficient operations.

The role requires strong MS Office proficiency, 3–5 years of industrial experience, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations or a related industrial role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and related software; strong written and verbal communication; good troubleshooting and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and ensure work aligns with company, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
• Develop team skills through training, safety committees, and risk assessments.
• Oversee environmental compliance across plant operations.
• Support product quality with QA collaboration and issue resolution.
• Monitor plant equipment and oversee production performance and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Plan workforce schedules, authorize overtime, and ensure staffing needs.
• Initiate and track maintenance work orders for equipment reliability.
• Complete daily production reports and document issues or unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate with logistics to manage cement shipments and quarry communications.
