Job summary

Cemex is seeking a results-driven Coordinator Production to support plant operations and ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role includes equipment coordination, maintenance planning, and production reporting to optimize daily operations.

You will help supervise and develop the team, coordinate with quality control, and manage workflows in a fast-paced cement environment. The position requires heavy equipment operation experience and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
• 3–5 years of experience in operations or related industrial role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Cement process experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Promote safety per company, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
• Training & Development: Ensure team skills for safe, effective work; participate in safety programs.
• Environmental Responsibility: Ensure environmental regulations compliance across plant operations.
• Product Quality: Collaborate with Quality Control to troubleshoot and maintain high standards.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor plant equipment, production performance, and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Workforce Planning: Schedule work, authorize overtime, ensure adequate staffing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Initiate and follow up on maintenance work orders.
• Reporting & Documentation: Complete daily production reports and report unsafe practices.
• Coordination: Manage shipments of cement and communicate quarry operations.
