Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 18–36 months of transportation inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• GDOT certifications and qualification tests completed within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials and pavement placement quality.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Maintain contract documentation and project records.
• Prepare reports and inspect project activities and findings.
