Job summary

Accura Engineering in Georgia is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection for roadway, bridge, and transportation infrastructure projects. You will conduct field inspections, verify materials and workmanship, maintain project documentation, and support project engineers throughout the construction process.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 18–36 months of transportation inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1.5–3 years of transportation inspection experience with a state agency or consultant.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials and pavement placement.
• Inspect structural components and foundations, excavation, and backfill operations.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Maintain contract documentation and project records.
• Prepare reports and project activity findings.
