Job summary

Luster National, Inc. is seeking CEI Inspector II professionals to provide Construction, Engineering, and Inspection services for transportation projects in Georgia. The role supports higher level inspectors, conducts roadway and structure inspections, and documents field measurements.

Training is provided to obtain required GDOT certifications. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of transportation tech experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of progressive transportation technician experience.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials, methods and equipment.
• Ability to read and explain construction plans and specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook.
• Georgia driver’s license / operate motor vehicles as per Georgia law.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent complex inspections of roadways and structures to ensure contract compliance.
• Inspect asphalt/concrete materials and pavement for proper specs and processes.
• Conduct inspections and supervise routine inspections by others where applicable.
• Document field measurements and prepare reports.
• Support project engineer duties on smaller projects; participate in meetings and reviews.
