Job summary

Lusternational in Georgia is seeking CEI Inspectors at multiple levels to provide construction, engineering, and inspection services for transportation projects. This is a future postings initiative; candidates are profiled and added to a talent pool for upcoming needs.

The roles include field inspections, documentation, and compliance with GDOT standards, with training to obtain required certifications. A HS diploma and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• General knowledge of mathematical functions.
• Skill in the use of office equipment such as calculators.
• Ability to learn and interpret construction plans, contract provisions, and inspection procedures.
• Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with Georgia Law.
• Proficiency with computers (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, internet).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and standardized work including calculations, computations, and inspections to ensure compliance with the construction contract.
• Inspect truck load tickets for roadway base course materials at project sites.
• Conduct simple materials sampling, inspection and testing.
• Perform contract administrative duties including field measurements and documentation.
• Possibly use equipment like Slump Cone, Air Meter, Measuring Wheel/Tape, Thermometer; receive full training on equipment.
