Luster National, Inc. in Georgia seeks CEI Inspector II to support transportation projects with inspection, surveying, scheduling, and testing. This intermediate technical role assists senior inspectors and engineers across roadways, structures, and materials to ensure contract compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3+ years of transportation technician experience with a highway agency or similar.
• Strong knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in highway construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Proficiency with basic math including geometry and trigonometry.
• Drafting ability and basic office equipment skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform project engineering duties on smaller construction projects as needed.
• Conduct independent complex inspections of roadways and structures for contract compliance.
• Supervise inspectors conducting routine inspections and provide guidance.
• Inspect asphalt/concrete materials, pavement, and traffic control for conformance.
• Perform calculations and contract documentation field measurements.
